For this project we were tasked with creating both a skateboard deck that applied uniquely to us and a poster advertising the auction the skateboards were after sold at.
Final deck design
The final deck design is predominately based off my love for comic books and comic book style. Capturing the bold energy of the classic sound effects to give life to the overall design.

The design mainly focuses on utilizing the same style as many of the old cartoon show networks that aired in the 2000’s. This is because the 2000’s style both working with my comic book style board and being roughly when skateboarding became a huge cultural phenomenon.
